Game of the DayRock Cats vs. Fisher Cats -
Liam Hendriks gets the start for New Britain today, on a near perfect day in Manchester, New Hampshire. Hendriks has allowed 3 or fewer runs in each of his last six starts, including a two-run effort against the Fisher Cats back on April 25th when he earned his first win of the season. Zach Stewart has been slipping as of late, allowing 20 runs over his last four starts, good enough for a 1-2 record in that stretch. He is coming off of his worst start of the season when he went only 4 innings against Portland on Monday, allowing 7 runs on 8 hits and 4 walks. Thankfully the rest of the staff has been lights out while their "ace" has stumbled, but it's high time he turns things around, and if that happens, then it could be lights out for the rest of the Eastern League. The Rock Cats, who fell to third place with yesterday's loss, will be looking to climb back up the standings and halt their two game skid.

Side note prediction (5-14) – Zach Stewart is overdue for a quality start and the Fisher Cats have been dominating the Rock Cats (8-3 in season series), so the prediction today is a New Hampshire win.
