Game of the Day - Rock Cats. vs. Sea Dogs - What better way to spend a Mother's Day than watching an old fashioned Cats vs. Dogs battle...much in the way that mom always had to mediate over a sister vs. brother battle at home...although I'm not quite sure who the sister is here. The first two games of this series have not been pretty from a pitching standpoint as the teams have combined for 39 runs! So look for another slugfest today at Hadlock Field. The pitching matchup pits Bobby Lanigan, who is 1-1 against Portland this year, versus Alex Wilson, who has yet to face the Rock Cats this season and is coming off two straight wins. So mom's, enjoy this one, or any game you get to go to today. A very Happy Mother's Day to all, and most especially to my wife, who is enjoying her first one as a mom!

Side note predicition (2-5) - Uhhhhh, sorry about that Zach Stewart! So yeah, this is exactly why I'm not a gambling man, but I must admit, it is still fun because there are so many aspects of this game that one can try to predict...and in the end the game shows us just how unique and unpredicitable it can be. I'm keeping today simple and putting it on the PawSox for a win over Scranton-Wilkes Barre in the finale of their four game set.
