Game of the Day - Binghamton @ Fisher Cats - The New Hampshire Fisher Cats have loaded up the guns and are making a full push towards an Eastern League Championship. It all starts with the Cats 1-2 pitching punch of Kyle Drabek and Zack Stewart, the two top prospects in the Toronto Blue Jays organization. So-much-so that the team decided to skip Drabek's last start in an effort to preserve him for the playoffs. Tonight he returns to the hill in search of his fourth straight victory. He last started against the BMets back on July 17th, which was the last time that Drabek lost a game. New Hampshire is hopeful that his return to the rotation helps with their current slumps. The team is 3-4 over their last 7 games and 5-7 in the month of August. Binghamton puts Mark Cohoon on the bump tonight as they hope for him to build off of his best start of the year. In his last outing on August 10th, Cohoon picked up a win against Harrisburg by tossing 7 innings of 3 hit ball, allowing only 1 run to cross the plate. Cohoon faced New Hampshire back on July 11th when he was roughed up to the tune of 5 runs in 3 2/3 innings. These two teams have already played some great series against each other this season, so there is no doubt that these last three games will go the same way. The Fisher Cats hold a slight 10-9 lead over Binghamton in the season series.
