Game of the Day - Rock Cats @ Erie - Look up and down the pitching matchups and it's easy to see that we have some tough pickings for today's GotD. So why not pick the Rock Cats? They took two out of three at home against the Seawolves last week, but dropped the first of three in Erie last night. Tyler Robertson is coming off of two tough loses where opponents averaged .316 at the plate. One of those loses was against Eris last Thursday when he let up 8 hits and 3 walks over 4 innings. Robertson's last win came back on July 15th and his 11 losses are only one behind teammate Mike McCardell (1-12) for most in the Eastern League. Anthony Shawler was the starter who earned Erie's one win against New Britain last week. He tossed 7 innings in that game and allowed 2 earned runs on 6 hits and a walk. The Rock Cats have lost four of their last five games, so they're hoping to turn things around starting tonight. Erie is in the midst of a five game winning streak, so they hope to keep things rolling. Game time is 7:05pm tonight from Jerry Uht Park in Erie, Pennsylvania.
