The Back and Forth of it All

The Fisher Cats are clawing their way back into the game with the score now 7-6 in the top of the 8th inning. New Hampshire put up 2 runs in the bottom of the 6th after Mets reliever Clint Everts was all over the place. Brad Emaus scored on a wild pitch that moved Eric Thames up to third. Adam Loewen ripped a double past the diving Marshall Hubbard at first to score Thames and Everts gave way to Roy Merritt. The Cats put up another run on an RBI single by Emaus in the bottom of the 7th. The announced crowd of 6,145 seems to be dwindling with each degree droppage. We were just told that it is a balmy 45 degrees at this time.
