It's a quick hit-and-run recap today. However, we will be making up for it with tons of live updates from the New Hampshire Fisher Cats home opener tonight! It's actually a great day of baseball all around; The Fisher Cats and the Portland Sea Dogs have their home openers and I cannot implore you enough to get out and support these teams...tickets are still available for both games (NHFisherCats.com & PortlandSeaDogs.com). The Cats have highly touted prospect Zach Stewart on the mound to open Merchantsauto.com Stadium, while the Dogs open Hadlock Field with Kyle Weiland getting the starting nod.

Also, the PawSox send Daisuke Matsuzaka to the mound for his second rehab start of the season. Dice-K looked great in his first stint and hopes to continue the trend versus Buffalo this afternoon. Pawtucket is hoping that a roll of the Dice can halt their current two game losing streak.

The New Britain Rock Cats leave their (un)friendly confines for their first road trip. This may be a good thing, seeing as they've lost the first six games of the season, all of which were home games. First stop on their trip is in Harrisburg where they will play a four game series against the Senators starting tonight at 7:00pm. Here's to hoping they get off the schneid.
