The New Hampshire Fisher Cats improved to 3-0 on the season and completed a sweep of the New Britain Rock Cats today with a 7-4 victory. Adam Calderone took advantage of a fielding error by the Rock Cats when he launched a 3-run homer to deep right to break a 4-4 tie in the eighth inning. Randy Boone (1-0) picked up the victory in relief while Santos Arias (0-1) was on the losing end. Adrian Martin picked up the save in his first outing of the year for New Hampshire. The Rock Cats look to get their season on the right track when they welcome the Portland Sea Dogs to town for a three game series beginning on Monday. The Fisher Cats move on to Reading, Pennsylvania to play a three game set against the Phillies before returning to Manchester on Thursday for their home opener against the Binghamton Mets.
