vs. Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs (Eddie Bonine 1-2, 2.60)

Game of the DayRock Cats vs. Fisher Cats – Dos Cats are back at in Manchester after the Rocks took it to the Fishers 9-2 last night. Last week New Hampshire won two games of a rain-shortened 3 game set in New Britain, not it looks as if the Rock Cats are flipping the script here, taking it to the Fisher Cats in their own litter box. New Britain has David Bromberg going for his second win of the season after suffering a loss in his last outing which was against these very Fisher Cats back on the 18th. New Hampshire clipped Bromberg for 7 hits and 5 earned runs in that one. The way Zach Stewart has pitched in his last two starts should give the Fisher Cats even more hope in this one. He opposed Bromberg in that April 18th game, going 6 2/3 innings, allowing only 2 hits and no earned runs in picking up his only win on the season. So on paper (or screen) this looks like a gimme for the Fisher Cats…which probably means another win for the road team in what is heating up to be a nice little back-and-forth rivalry.
