e of the Day – Sea Dogs vs. Rock Cats - With all of yesterday's weather cancelling games, including our GotD, we figured we'd just go to this Cats vs. Dogs well one last time to close out the series. The same rules and streaks apply from yesterday's GotD listing, but it looks like they are switching up the starting pitchers. Michael Lee did well for Portland in his first start versus Trenton. The lanky right-hander only went 3.2 innings, but allowed only one run on three hits and he struck out 4 batters. Veteran workhorse David Bromberg takes the hill for the Rock C
ats. Fresh off his first win of the season against Harrisburg on Monday, Bromberg has put in work over the last three years, starting in at least 26 games and working 150+ innings in each of those campaigns. He may not be long for AA this year, but he can help the Cats while he is here. After a night of it raining cats and dogs, Sunday should be a day of play for these adversaries.

NOTE: The above GotD is null and void because neither team changed their starters from yesterday as Fife and Hendriks will be starting today...so just go down a day and reread that one and we'll forget this ever happened. That's what I get for trying to be proactive and get things done before I go to bed at 3:00am!
